Airborne Golden .45

The .45 is the most powerful military-issued pistol in history. Today, it is a bonafide historical military collectible, having been replaced by the 9mm pistol, to standardize ammunition for all NATO troops.

The American Historical Foundation is proud to honor the Airborne heroes through the issuance of the special, firing Limited Edition Golden Anniversary U.S. Airborne Commemorative .45. It is an appropriate tribute, as our Airborne warriors helped make it famous.

This is the world’s first limited edition .45 ever issued in honor of U.S. Airborne Forces, placing it in the “first ever” class of distinction.
From the standpoint of future investment value, only 500 will be made, and each will be individually numbered with the limited edition serial number between 001 and 500. This limited edition number will also be inscribed on the accompanying Certificate of Authenticity.
The gallant warrior spirit of the deeply etched, gold inscription: IN HONOR OF U.S. AIRBORNE FORCES; AIRBORNE ALL THE WAY!

The magazine catch, slide stop, safety, four grip screws, hammer and trigger are plated with 24-Karat Gold for lasting beauty and value. The custom made Walnut grips gleam with a beautiful museum-quality finish, and both grips (right and left) are inset with 24-Karat Gold plated cloisonne medallions. The focal point of the medallion is the famous Airborne jump wings emblem surrounded by the inscription “Fort Benning, 1940,”the place and date of Airborne’s birth. Each fires the same .45 ACP ammunition made famous by our Armed Forces.

Display Case

Also available is a custom made, luxuriously lined Display Case with locking glass lid and engraved identification plaque to display and protect your Tribute from dust and unauthorized handling.

Since the Tribute is a working firearm, we will arrange delivery through a licensed firearms dealer of your choice.

Reservation Form

I wish to reserve (Quantity) of the "Airborne Golden .45 Tribute ", a working pistol, at the price of $1,995*. Each pistol is numbered and registered within the limited edition of 500, and is accompanied by a numbered Certificate of Authenticity.  Thirty-day return privilege.

Please charge my credit card a deposit of $195 per pistol. I will pay the balance prior to delivery at the rate of $100 per month, with no interest or carrying charge.

Optional Display Case:

I do not wish to order the optional luxuriously lined Display Case at this time.

I also wish to reserve the optional luxuriously lined Display Case. Please add $149 + shipping to the final payment.
