Golden Tribute - Army

Smith & Wesson Armed Forces M10

The American Historical Foundation is proud to bring you a world’s first in military arms collecting. The first Smith & Wesson firearm of any type specifically issued to honor our U.S. Army, Marine Corps, Navy and Air Force.

The Longest-Serving Revolver in U.S. Military History

The longest-serving revolver in the history of all branches of our Armed Forces is (in the proper military nomenclature) the “Revolver, Caliber .38 Special: Smith and Wesson Military and Police, M10.” First made famous as the Smith & Wesson® “Victory Model”, this served on land and sea, and in the air, in World War II, Korea, and Vietnam – and then some! Our troops in all service branches liked it for its reliability and its straightforward ease of operation.

Each of Four Services Honored

Each of our four Armed Forces—Army, Marine Corps, Navy, and Air Force—is honored with its own individual revolver. In fact, for each Service Branch, Veterans, family members and collectors can own a hand engraved Golden Tribute and/or a hand engraved Silver Tribute.

Gold Tributes:

Silver Tributes:

The Golden Tribute “One of 50”

The Golden Tribute is a limited edition of only 50 revolvers per Service Branch. Lavishly covered with hand engraving and plated with 24-Karat Gold, to Jewelers Grade—Heavy thickness, the Service Branch name is hand engraved along the barrel, and its founding date is hand engraved along the left side of the frame. Both sides of the frame feature high coverage of hand engraving of classic scrolls and bead-dot background.

The four-star rank of the Service Branch’s Commanding General (or CNO) is engraved between each flute on the cylinder (a total of 24 hand-engraved stars). This is in the classic American scroll style of engraving. The grips are custom-made of deluxe-finished Rosewood, inlaid on both the right and left side with solid 14-Karat Gold discs, hand engraved with the initials of the Service Branch honored.

The Silver Tribute “One of 100”

The Silver Tribute to the Armed Forces is for those who prefer a beautiful, yet rugged finish. It is Show-Quality Hard Nickel plating. The engraving on the Silver Tribute is by hand and is of similar style to that of the Golden Tribute, but with slightly less coverage. The grips are custom-made of deluxe Ebony, inlaid on both sides with solid Sterling Silver discs, hand engraved with the initials of the Service Branch honored. This is a “One of 100” per Branch.

Fires .38 S&W Special

Each genuine Smith & Wesson revolver fires .38 S&W Special ammunition, the correct military chambering and the leading caliber of law enforcement for many decades, so it could be successfully used to defend your home, family or nation, should the need arise.
