The WWII–dated, WWII Trophy Edition Lee-Enfield

The WWII–dated, WWII Trophy Edition Lee-Enfield

World War II was an era of greatness, especially when it came to firearms—which were still precision-machined from solid steel and carved from large blocks of real wood. And what was the main battle rifle of more Allied nations than any other? The Lee-Enfield No. 1 Mark III* (the* is pronounced “star”). Decidedly “Old School,” it was one of the world's last riffles with a buttplate fashioned of thick, solid brass. The Foundation is proud to bring you the finest Lee-Enfield ever available in world history—in an edition limit of only 100 in the world. The edition limit is so low because, based on our extensive search, that is the entire world supply we have been able to gather of original, World War II date-stamped Lee-Enfield rifles of this highly-desirable model. Each is an important, original piece of World War II history.

Original WWII Date Stamped

The original World War II rollmarks, including the date (between 1939–1945) on the butt socket of the receiver and the name of the maker, the official Military Arsenal (“MA”) of Lithgow, Australia, prove its pedigree. Each meets full War Office specifications, intended for wartime use—but they were never issued.

Finest Version Ever Made

As a proper tribute to World War II Veterans and their families, each is customed gun-smithed to museum quality. No doubt about it, this is the finest version of this rifle ever made. Experienced gun polishers finish all steel surfaces to a combination of mirror polished and/or contrasting matte finish.

24-Karat Gold

Permanent, deep, bas relief etching and selective 24-Karat Gold plating proclaim the title of this special edition and confirm the edition limit, “One of 100.” This selective plating, along with the 24-Karat Gold plating that glistens across 10 other components, is all to Jewelers Grade–Heavy thickness, your assurance of lasting quality, beauty and value. The mint–condition, original wartime stocks are hand sanded and hand finished to beautiful presentation grade, appropriate to this showpiece. The shoulder stock is fitted with a custom, fired-enamel cloisonné, featuring the historically-correct “Victory” device of the period, further adding to its distinction. Of course, each fires the correct .303-caliber ammunition (readily available), with a 10-round magazine (provided). Not only is this the finest Lee-Enfield rifle ever made, this is one of the lowest edition limit military rifles ever issued—only 100.

To document the heritage of each rifle, each is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity confirming its WWII origin; its Limited Edition Registry Number between 1 and 100 (engraved in the rifle); the edition limit; and the purity of the 24-Karat Gold plating to Jewelers Grade-Heavy thickness.
