The 24-Karat Gold Plated Golden Tribute is a firing Museum Piece; each gleams like a valuable Gold nugget, as rich 24-Karat Gold plating glistens across each pistol. As your guarantee of lasting beauty and value, the plating is to Jewelers Grade-Heavy thickness. This Limited Edition strictly restricted to only 500 pistols per service branch.

“Silver Tribute”—Hard Nickel Plating

For veterans and collectors who prefer a Show Quality, yet rugged finish, the Colt Silver Tribute Pistol is available. Each pistol is mirror polished and plated with beautiful, yet heavy-duty, Hard Nickel plating. The Silver Tribute Limited Edition is strictly restricted to 1,000 per service branch. Considering the many millions of Americans who served in the Armed Forces during the “.45 era”, the 20th Century, the edition limits are highly restricted.

In each category, your pistol will meet your closest scrutiny because it is custom gunsmithed to museum quality, with these special features:

Experienced gun polishers carefully burnish and polish the steel surfaces to a mirror finish.
Elaborate, yet traditional, military panoplies of classical laurel leaves, banners, and historical inscriptions are laid down in deep bas relief by indelible acid etching along the slide.
The symbol of the service branch honored forms the focal point of the slide, flanked by the service branch name, its proud motto and the four stars of its senior commanding officer. Its founding date, etched in a yet another foliate banner, embellishes the lower front side of the slide.
Custom-designed, fired-enamel cloisonnés enhance both right and left grips, displaying the initials of the service branch honored. The color of the enamel work is distinctive to the service branch honored.
The custom Rosewood grips are hand finished to a corresponding deluxe high gloss.

Since the Tribute is a working pistol, we will arrange delivery through a licensed firearms dealer of your choice.

The Armed Forces Golden Tribute Colt .45- Navy is issued by a private, non-governmental organization to honor America's Armed Forces. Nothing in the decoration added to the basic firearm (including the informational content therein) is used as a trademark. Neither the United States Navy nor any other component of the Department of Defense has supplied, approved, endorsed, or authorized this product or any portion thereof.

I wish to reserve (Quantity) of the "Armed Forces Golden Tribute - Navy", a working Colt .45, at the price of $2,195*. Each pistol is numbered and registered within the limited edition of 500, and is accompanied by a numbered Certificate of Authenticity. Thirty-day return privilege.

Please charge my credit card a deposit of $195 per pistol. I will pay the balance prior to delivery at the rate of $100 per month, with no interest or carrying charge.
