Airborne Golden Anniversary Thompson

When inserted behind enemy lines or in street fighting enemy-held villages, the Thompson was an Airborne favorite. As you reflect on Airborne history, the Thompson leaps out as one of our Paratroopers’ most beloved firearms. The American Historical Foundation is proud to present the Golden Anniversary U.S. Airborne Commemorative Thompson. This is the first limited edition Thompson ever issued in honor of United States Airborne Forces. As a “collecting first” this Thompson is destined for greatness in the field of Airborne and firearms collecting. Only 500 are being made in this strictly limited edition. Each is individually numbered with the limited edition Registry Number between 001 and 500 and the prefix “ABN” for Airborne. This number is also inscribed on the accompanying Certificate of Authenticity. Extra care and individual attention is begin given to the fit and finish of each. Special Gold-Gilt infilled inscriptions are deeply etched on the receiver, including Airborne, Air Assault and Glider wings, the motto “Airborne All The Way,” and the American flag. The Airborn Thompson has thirteen 24-Karat Gold plated components.

The trigger, front sight, Cutts Compensator, rear sight base, two sling swivels and swivel mounts, four screws, trigger and the knurled activator knob are heavily plated with 24-Karat Gold. All major steel components are polished to a presentation-grade. The American Walnut Stocks gleam with a furniture-grade finish. Each is fitted with a deluxe brown leather military sling. The butt stock and rear grip are inset with Gold plated, fired-enamel cloisonne medallions custom-designed especially for this Commemorative. For ease of ownership, each Thompson is produced in semi-automatic (not full-auto) and fires the famous .45 ACP ammunition. Anyone who can own a standard hunting rifle can own this. Each Thompson is fitted with a 30 round magazine.

Display Case

A custom-built, luxuriously lined Display Case with engraved identification plaque is available. Includes locking glass lid to protect your firearm from dust and unauthorized handling. Suitable for wall mount or tabletop display.

Please charge my credit card a deposit of $195 per Thompson. I will pay the balance prior to delivery at the rate of $280 per month, with no interest or carrying charge.
